Meditator Consultations
What is a consultation?
Consultations are your initial meeting with a member of the Care Team and typically involve:
1)An initial period of hearing your story, and getting to know the specifics of your situation, including your meditation history, detailed descriptions of experiences + symptoms, any other factors that you think are important, and what activities, approaches or treatments you have found help or unhelpful so far.
2) After we get a sense of where you are at, and what your needs, goals and values are, we may answer your questions, share some of our own experiences, describe available resources within and beyond Cheetah House and/or make recommendations for next steps. Depending on your situation, next steps may include ongoing one-on-one support from the same or different Care Team member, support groups or other resources.
All consultations are done over Zoom and last 50 minutes.
